Authorities have said that more arrests could be made if additional evidence is found.
Multiple Hotels Under Police Scanner
Investigators believe the alleged assaults occurred at different hotels over several days. Police have visited these locations to verify guest records, collect surveillance footage, and gather forensic evidence.
Officials are also examining whether proper hotel check-in procedures were followed and if any lapses helped the accused carry out the alleged crime.
Victim Receiving Medical and Legal Assistance
The 13-year-old survivor has undergone medical examination as part of the investigation. Since the victim is a minor, her identity is being kept confidential under Indian law.
Authorities have urged the public and media not to share any information that could reveal the identity of the child.
Strict Legal Action Under POCSO Act
If the allegations are proven, the accused may face charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act along with relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The POCSO Act provides stringent punishment for crimes involving minors and aims to ensure speedy justice for child victims.
